Our Affiliations!
The South African Screen Federation (SASFED) is the national federation of independent film, television and audio-visual industry organisations in South Africa. SASFED represents a broad spectrum of industry players who engage on industry strategy, policy and interventions to empower, unify and strengthen the SA screen industry.
AFDA (The School for the Creative Economy) is South Africa’s leading higher-education institution for film, television, performance, and creative entrepreneurship. With accredited campuses in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, and Gqeberha, AFDA offers certificate, undergraduate, and postgraduate programmes that cultivate artistic talent while instilling the practical skills and industry insight needed to thrive in the local and global screen economy.
The SA Film Academy (SAFA) is an accredited, non-profit skills-development facilitator and training provider dedicated to South Africa’s film and digital-media sector. Through remunerated, in-service “learning-by-doing” placements on local and international productions, SAFA bridges education and employment, cultivating a diverse, future-ready workforce that will sustain and transform the national screen industries.
